1.Who we are and what these Terms cover
UnifyOps (“UnifyOps”, “we”, “us”) runs tryunifyops.com, an online marketplace where businesses (“brands”) find and hire independent content creators (“creators”) for content work: videos, reels, designs, edits and similar. UnifyOps is operated by Raghav Mittal as an individual in India. Our contact details and Grievance Officer are on the Contact page.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to everyone who visits tryunifyops.com or uses our apps, emails or services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Payments & Refunds Policy and our Delivery Policy. If you use UnifyOps for a company, you confirm you're allowed to bind that company, and “you” includes it.
Our role. UnifyOps is a platform, an “intermediary” under India's Information Technology Act, 2000. We host profiles, briefs, pitches, messages and deliveries, and we keep the record of each project. When a brand hires a creator, the contract for the work is between the brand and the creator. UnifyOps isn't a party to it, isn't the seller or the buyer, and doesn't act as an agent for either side. The brand pays the creator directly, and UnifyOps never holds, receives or forwards that money.
2.Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You can sign up with Google or with an email and password. Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, and you should tell us straight away at hello@tryunifyops.com if you think someone else has access.
- Give accurate information, including your name, company, location and the work you show in your portfolio, and keep it up to date.
- One person or company per account. Don't create accounts to get around a suspension or to post reviews about yourself.
- Each account picks a role, brand or creator. Your role decides which features you see. If you need both, contact us and we'll help.
3.Founding members
The first 500 accounts receive a numbered Founding badge (#001 to #500) in the order they sign up. The badge is shown on your profile, is personal to your account, and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money. Numbers are not reissued if an account is closed.
During early access nobody pays a fee (see Fees). If we introduce a service fee later, a founding brand pays none on the first project it hires for after that. This applies once and has no cash value.
We may remove a Founding badge from an account that breaks these Terms.
4.How projects work
- Briefs. A brand posts a brief describing the work: category, deliverables, platforms, budget and currency, deadline, whether a product will be shipped, and the usage rights the brand wants. Brands can also send a direct offer to a specific creator or book a creator's package.
- Pitches. Creators respond with a price, a delivery time, a message and samples. A pitch is an offer to the brand to make the work in the brief at that price.
- Hiring. When a brand hires a creator (from a pitch, a direct offer the creator accepts, a package or a client offer), UnifyOps creates a contract page. It records the title, the brief or scope, the agreed price and currency, the delivery time, the revision rounds included and the usage rights. The contract starts straight away and shows In progress; a direct offer starts when the creator accepts it. The due date is the start date plus the agreed delivery time.
- Payment. The brand pays the creator directly, using the payment details the creator has shared, at the times the two of them agree (see Paying creators directly).
- Delivery and approval. The creator delivers on the contract page. The brand either approves the delivery or asks for a revision with specific feedback. If the brand does neither within 5 days of the latest delivery, the work is approved automatically.
- Reviews. Once the work is approved, the brand and the creator can review each other.
Keep project communication and files on UnifyOps. The contract page, its messages, its deliveries and the paid/received record are what we look at if you ask us for help. During early access our team can see every contract, so we can help both sides and keep the marketplace safe.
5.Creator profiles and how they're ranked
What a profile shows. Each creator's profile shows their name, city and country, the work they do, their portfolio, their starting rate, their member number, and their reviews and rating. Most creators are individuals, not registered businesses. By publishing a profile, a package or a pitch, a creator confirms that what it says about them and their work is accurate, and that the samples are their own work or work they have the right to show.
Contact details after a hire. You can message the creator on the contract page. If you need more to resolve a complaint about a contract, ask us in writing and we'll give you the name and contact details we hold for that creator.
How creators are ranked. The default “Recommended” order on the creators page shows first any creator currently marked Featured (a 7-day reward for inviting a brand to UnifyOps), then Founding creators (#001 to #500), then creators with more completed projects, a higher average rating, more portfolio items and a fuller bio, and then the newest. You can also sort by newest or by lowest starting rate, and filter by category, country, rate and availability. Nobody can pay for a higher place.
Our own projects. We sometimes post briefs and hire creators ourselves. On those projects UnifyOps is the brand, and these Terms apply to us as they apply to any brand.
6.Fees
- Free during early access. Brands pay 0% and creators pay 0%. Joining, posting briefs, pitching, messaging and hiring are free. There are no subscriptions or bidding credits.
- Brands pay exactly the agreed price, directly to the creator, and creators keep all of it. UnifyOps adds nothing to the price and takes nothing from it. For example, on a ₹10,000 project the brand pays the creator ₹10,000; on a US$1,000 project, US$1,000.
- Nothing for us to refund. Because UnifyOps charges nothing and never receives deal money, there is no fee or payment for UnifyOps to refund. Money between a brand and a creator is settled between them (see the Payments & Refunds Policy).
- Currency. Each contract is in Indian rupees or US dollars, fixed when it is created.
- Taxes. Each of you is responsible for your own taxes on what you pay or earn. UnifyOps doesn't issue invoices for deals, collect tax on them or deduct tax from them.
Fees in the future. We may introduce fees after early access. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email and on the pricing page before any fee takes effect. A fee will always be shown before you hire, and it will never apply to a contract agreed before the fee takes effect.
7.Paying creators directly
- Brands pay creators directly. After a hire, the brand pays the creator by UPI, PayPal or bank transfer, using the payment details the creator has added to UnifyOps. The brand sees them on the contract page. They are shown only to a brand with a current contract with that creator.
- UnifyOps never touches deal money. UnifyOps never holds, receives or forwards money for a deal, and isn't a bank, a payment service or an agent for either side. We can't see, confirm, stop, reverse or refund a payment between a brand and a creator.
- The paid/received record. After paying, the brand taps “I've paid” and can add a reference (a UPI reference or UTR, a bank reference or a PayPal transaction ID). The creator taps “Received” once the full agreed price has arrived. Both sides see the record. It is what the two of you tell each other; we don't check it against any bank or PayPal record. Marking a payment you haven't made, or denying one you've received, breaks these Terms.
- Pay safely. Pay only to the details on the contract page, and check that the name your UPI app, bank or PayPal shows matches the creator. Be wary of payment details sent by message or email, or a request to pay someone else, and check in the deal room if anything changes. For a first deal with someone new, don't pay 100% upfront. UnifyOps never asks for your UPI PIN, OTP, card number, bank login or PayPal password, and never asks anyone to pay UnifyOps for a deal.
- The risk of direct payments. A direct payment is between you and the person you pay. We don't guarantee that a brand will pay or that a creator will deliver, and we can't recover money that was paid to the wrong person, lost to fraud or not returned. Your bank, UPI app or PayPal may be able to help under their own rules (see Payment problems).
- Contracts paid to UnifyOps before 8 October 2026. If a brand paid UnifyOps for a contract before then, we finish that contract under the terms that applied when it was paid: we pay the creator, or refund the brand, as those terms said.
- If we start handling payments. If we ever add a way to pay through UnifyOps, such as a payment gateway, we'll update these Terms and tell you before it applies to any contract.
8.Standard project terms between brand and creator
When a brand hires a creator on UnifyOps, the brand and the creator make a contract with each other. It is made up of what the contract page records, anything else you both agree in the deal room messages, and the standard terms below, which apply unless you both agree something different in the deal room. UnifyOps isn't a party to that contract.
- The work. The creator makes the work described in the contract by the due date and decides how to do it. The creator is independent, not an employee or agent of the brand or of UnifyOps.
- The price and when it's paid. The brand pays the creator the agreed price, in the contract's currency, using the payment details the creator has shared on UnifyOps. Agree when in the deal room (a common split is 50% at the start and 50% on approval). If you haven't agreed, the full price is due within 7 days after the work is approved, including automatic approval.
- Payment costs. Each of you pays your own bank, UPI or PayPal charges, including any currency conversion, unless you agree otherwise.
- Money back. If the creator withdraws, or nothing is delivered and the brand cancels (see Cancelling a project), the creator returns everything the brand paid for the contract within 7 days. If the work is late, deficient or not what was agreed, and a revision doesn't fix it, the creator offers a fair full or partial refund. If you agree to stop for another reason, settle what's owed for the work already done as you agree.
- Complaints. Reply to a complaint from the other side in the deal room within 48 hours, and work to resolve it within one month.
- Taxes and invoices. If the brand needs an invoice, the creator provides it. Any tax the law requires the creator to charge, or the brand to deduct at source, is handled between you.
- Usage rights pass as described in Content ownership and usage rights.
- Changes. Agree changes to the scope, price, timing or rights in the deal room messages, so you both have the same record.
9.Delivery, revisions and approval
Creators deliver by adding links to the finished files (for example a cloud folder) on the contract page, with any notes. The brand has 5 days from each delivery to review it and either approve it or request a revision that explains what needs to change and how it relates to the brief. If the brand does neither within 5 days, the work is approved automatically. The Delivery Policy explains what counts as delivered.
Revisions should stay within the scope of the original brief and the number of revision rounds in the contract. New deliverables, new concepts or a different direction are a new project and should be agreed separately.
Approving a delivery, or letting the 5-day review window end without a response, confirms the work is accepted. Approval doesn't pay the creator: the brand pays as agreed (see Standard project terms), and the usage rights pass once the work is approved and paid for in full. Check the files before you approve.
10.Cancelling a project
- Before a direct offer is accepted, the brand can withdraw it and the creator can decline it. Nothing is owed.
- Once a contract has started, the creator can withdraw from the contract page while the work is in progress.
- If nothing has been delivered more than 2 days after the due date, the brand can cancel from the contract page. Due dates end at 23:59 UTC.
- Otherwise, a contract that has started ends when the work is approved, or if you both agree to stop. To stop by agreement, say so in the deal room and use “Report a problem”, and we'll close the contract.
- Cancelling closes the contract on UnifyOps; it doesn't move any money. Money already paid is settled between you under the Standard project terms: if the creator withdraws or doesn't deliver, the creator returns it within 7 days.
- UnifyOps charges nothing, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing for UnifyOps to refund. The details are in the Payments & Refunds Policy.
11.Problems between brands and creators
Most problems are solved by talking in the deal room. If a delivery doesn't match the brief, ask for a revision, which also pauses automatic approval. If that doesn't work, use “Report a problem” on the contract page, or email hello@tryunifyops.com with the contract name.
A person at UnifyOps looks at every report. We reply within 2 business days, review the brief, the contract, the messages, the deliveries and the paid/received record, may ask both sides for more information, and suggest a fair way forward. Reporting a problem pauses automatic approval while the report is open. We close every report within one month.
What we can't do. We can't reverse, refund, hold or force a payment, because the money never passes through us. We aren't an arbitrator: our suggestion doesn't bind you, and we don't decide questions of copyright, defamation or other legal claims.
What we can do. If someone breaks these Terms, for example by taking payment and neither delivering nor returning it, or by marking a payment that wasn't made, we may warn them, limit, suspend or close their account, and remove their content. You keep every other right you have, including asking your bank, UPI app or PayPal for help, or going to a consumer commission or a court.
12.Content ownership and usage rights
The creator owns what they make until the work is approved and paid for in full. Every brief or contract scope states the usage rights the brand is getting, and the creator accepts them by pitching, accepting an offer or publishing a package. Once the work is approved (including automatic approval) and the brand has paid the full agreed price, as agreed between the two of them, the creator grants the brand, directly, the rights stated in the contract. UnifyOps isn't a party to this grant and takes no ownership of the content.
- Organic only. A non-exclusive, worldwide licence to publish the content on the brand's own channels (its social accounts, website, email and similar). Not for paid advertising.
- Paid ads · 3 months. Everything in Organic, plus the right to run the content as paid ads, including whitelisted or boosted posts, for 3 months from the date the rights pass to the brand.
- Paid ads · 12 months. Everything in Organic, plus the right to run the content as paid ads, including whitelisted or boosted posts, for 12 months from the date the rights pass to the brand.
- Full buyout. The creator assigns ownership of the delivered content, including copyright, to the brand, worldwide and for the full term of copyright. The brand may use, edit and license it without limits of time or channel. If the brand asks, the creator signs a separate written assignment.
Proof of payment. The creator's “Received” on the contract page is the usual record that the full price was paid. If the creator hasn't tapped it, the brand can rely on other proof that it paid the full agreed price, such as a UPI reference or a PayPal receipt. Until the rights pass, the brand may review the work but must not publish or use it, unless the creator agrees in the deal room.
If a contract records no usage rights, the brand gets Organic only. If a contract is cancelled, or the creator returns the brand's payment in full, no rights pass and the brand must not use the delivered work. If you settle on a partial payment, the rights pass for what you agree in the deal room.
Unless the brief says otherwise, licensed content may be edited, cropped, captioned and subtitled, and organic posts may stay up after any paid-ads period ends. Raw footage and project files are only included if the brief lists them as a deliverable.
Creators may show delivered work in their portfolio once the brand has published it or 90 days after approval, whichever comes first, unless the brief marks the project confidential. With a full buyout, the creator keeps this portfolio right unless the brief says otherwise.
Brands give creators a limited licence to use the brand's names, logos, products and materials only to complete the project. The contract on UnifyOps is the record of what was agreed, so keep any changes to scope or rights in the contract chat.
13.Your content on our platform
You keep ownership of what you post on UnifyOps: your profile, portfolio links, briefs, pitches, messages and reviews (“Your Content”). You give UnifyOps a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt Your Content as needed to run, improve and promote the Service. That includes showing public profiles and open briefs on tryunifyops.com, in search results and in previews when someone shares a link. We will ask before featuring you by name in advertising outside UnifyOps.
You confirm you have the rights to Your Content and to everything you deliver, including music, fonts, footage, images and the likeness of anyone who appears in it.
14.Prohibited content and conduct
UnifyOps is for content work only: ugc videos, reels & tiktoks, video editing, graphic design, motion & animation, thumbnails, photography, scripts & copy, brand identity, influencer posts, podcast & audio, ai content. Don't use it for anything else, and don't post, request or deliver:
- Anything illegal, or content that promotes illegal goods or services.
- Sexual content of any kind, and any content that sexualises minors (we report this to the authorities).
- Content that is harmful to children.
- Intimate images or deepfakes of a real person without their consent, or content that impersonates another person.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, content that encourages violence or self-harm, or content that promotes enmity between groups on grounds of religion or caste.
- Material that belongs to someone else when you don't have the right to use it, or that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, patent, privacy or publicity rights.
- Deceptive advertising: false product claims, fake testimonials, or sponsored posts without the disclosure the law and the platform require (for example #ad or a paid-partnership label).
- Content that misleads people about where it came from, or that you know is false or misleading.
- Fake engagement: bought followers, likes, views or reviews, or work designed to manipulate a platform's systems.
- Ads for weapons, tobacco and vaping, gambling or betting, real-money online games, or unapproved drugs and supplements with health claims.
- Content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its relations with other countries or public order, or that encourages anyone to commit an offence.
- Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or anything designed to damage or disrupt a computer system.
- Asking a creator to pay anything (fees, deposits, product costs) to get work. UnifyOps never charges creators.
- Giving false payment details, asking to be paid in someone else's name without saying so clearly, or using a deal to move money for anything other than the work in the contract.
- Marking a payment as made or received when it wasn't.
You also agree not to scrape the Service, interfere with its security, or use it to collect other members' contact details.
15.Influencer disclosures and AI content
Creators who post sponsored content on their own channels must follow advertising disclosure rules where they and their audience are (for example the US FTC Endorsement Guides) and the rules of the platform they post on. Brands must not ask creators to hide a paid relationship.
Creators who use AI tools must have the rights to the inputs they use and must tell the brand, before hiring, if a deliverable is wholly or substantially AI-generated, unless the brief asks for AI content.
16.Reviews
After a contract is completed, the brand and the creator can review each other. Reviews must be honest, about that project, and free of personal information. Don't offer or accept anything in exchange for a review. We may remove reviews that break these Terms, but we don't remove reviews just because they are negative. Every review on UnifyOps comes from a completed contract. We don't write, buy or edit reviews, and the counts we show (members, briefs, reviews) are real.
17.Suspension and closing your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@tryunifyops.com. Open contracts need to be completed or cancelled first.
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other members at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Suspending or closing an account doesn't cancel what a brand and a creator owe each other under a contract.
18.Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We work hard to keep UnifyOps useful and safe, but the Service is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that a brief will get pitches, that a creator will be hired, or that content will reach any number of views, sales or followers. We aren't a party to deals between brands and creators. We don't employ creators, and we don't guarantee who members say they are, the quality or legality of their work, that a brand will pay or that a creator will deliver. Looking at a deal, or helping with a problem, doesn't make us responsible for it.
To the extent the law allows, UnifyOps isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for losses from a payment between members, including a payment sent to the wrong details or lost to fraud. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid UnifyOps in the 12 months before the claim and ₹10,000 (US$100 for accounts in US dollars). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
19.Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against UnifyOps because of content you posted or delivered, a deal between you and another member, or because you broke these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
20.Emails we send
We send emails about your account and your projects, which you can't turn off while your account is open. Digest and marketing emails are optional: each one has an unsubscribe link and our postal address, and we act on an unsubscribe within 10 business days.
21.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as UnifyOps grows. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. At least once every three months we also remind members of these rules, our Privacy Policy, and that breaking them can lead to content being removed or an account being suspended. If you keep using UnifyOps after the changes take effect, the new Terms apply. Contracts already agreed stay under the Terms that applied when they were agreed.
22.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to a court or a consumer commission about UnifyOps, please contact our Grievance Officer (see Contact); most problems are solved there. Subject to that, the competent courts in India have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live, including the right to approach a consumer commission in India, or your local courts and agencies elsewhere.
